Marketing Internship Opportunity

PTI is seeking a Marketing & Sales support intern who would you like to learn the “behind the scenes” business world and experience the latest technologies companies are using in the fast-growing packaging industry.

PTI offers a unique opportunity to work in a professional and internationally focused organization that manufactures, markets, and supports inspection technologies for the packaging industry. Our solutions focus on the following target industries globally: Lifesciences (pharmaceutical, medical device, biologics), food and nutrition and plastics. This position will support marketing and sales personnel in a number of roles. Internship could potentially lead to a full-time position.

Internship Description and Direction

• Will work with various management levels of the company from marketing, sales, business development, divisional leaders, engineers and senior management.
• Provide marketing support in preparation for conferences, exhibitions and trade show events.
• Eager to provide hands-on help in pre-event marketing efforts and plans as needed.
• Provide support for information management that includes building databases and contact lists for our target industries; provide research support for targeted client companies.
• Provide marketing support as needed to develop content for articles, case studies, technical papers and presentations.
• Input companies, contacts and notes into Insightly CRM program.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
• Update and create database groups for marketing, advertising and industry trade shows and conferences.
• Become familiar with inspection technologies and their industry trends.

Internship Timeframe

• Full time if available during summer months, 15-20 hours per week or more during the school year (PTI office hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm)
• Position could lead to full time position.
• Opportunity to work year round
