Package Testing influences the quality of the product as well as the safety. Product design has to be well designed and equipped to go through problems that do occur in the process of transporting the products. Leaks and burst test should guarantee that leak tightness of the packaging will ensure that microorganisms or air can’t affect the product and that it may not leak. Permeability will be sustained by keeping an ideal environment and providing the right packaging to extend the shelf life of the product. The main point is to keep a barrier between the external forces and the product in the package. The thickness should be measured and not only does it determine the cost of the product but it also influences different characteristics such as strength and how much the package can hold.
