PTI is seeking a competent and experienced Project Manager to join our Operations Team. This role is responsible for delivering machine orders 100% accurate, 100% complete, 100% perfect and 100% on time. The successful candidate will work with internal project management to achieve an exceptional client experience starting with the initial sale all the way through final mile execution ensuring satisfaction of all client-related deliverables. The role will work daily with most functions in the company including Sales, Assembly, Operations and Engineering. A standard machine build time is 6-10 weeks, custom builds can be longer and oftentimes require a creative and resourceful approach to drive them successfully to completion.

The role will be responsible for managing & improving project timelines, clearly communicating project updates to our clients and internal Teams and ensuring equipment builds cross the finish-line with the highest level of quality. The role will require assessing and managing resource needs, problem solving, clear communication, teamwork, and a strong focus on Customer Satisfaction. Project Manager Role Description
- Work with project and project delivery teams to meet project deadlines.
- Responsible for customer communications at transfer from the Sales Team
- Responsible for actively evaluating the project to anticipate, identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalates risks and issues when needed.
- Understand and establish the clear scope of work for any project.
- Cultivating trust and managing expectations with all project stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Service, and Operations)
- Identify need for additional resources and adjustments needed to meet client expectations.
- Focused on improving project timelines without sacrificing quality.
- Involved in reviewing products, processes, and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.
- Provide input on developing standards and procedures related to project matters.
- Manage the projects and deliverables; align the Team.
- Present progress reports to upper management in regular production review meetings.
- Research strategies to further improve the customer experience.
- Implementing customer satisfaction strategies to improve quality of PTI’s solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- 8-10 Years Experience in Project Management
- Demonstrate leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Six-Sigma and PMP Training a Valuable Asset
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical field
- Proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access)
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written
- Highly detail and schedule oriented
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to meet project deadlines
- Excellent problem solving skills
